Our Mission

At Hunt & Recovery Project, our mission is to support wounded veterans, first responders, and Gold Star children through meaningful outdoor experiences that restore purpose, connection, and hope. We believe healing happens when gratitude turns into action—and when those who have carried the weight of service are reminded, they are not alone.

Why We Exist

The true cost of service does not end when a uniform is folded or a badge is retired.

It lives on in families, in injuries seen and unseen, and in children who grow up carrying the legacy of sacrifice.

We exist to honor that cost—not with words alone, but with presence, community, and experiences that help people heal.

Who We Serve

Wounded Veterans — those who have borne the physical and emotional toll of defending our nation

First Responders — those who run toward danger so others can run away

Gold Star Children — the sons and daughters of fallen heroes, carrying a legacy they did not choose

What We Do

We create intentional outdoor experiences, hunts, and time on the land—designed to:

Provide space for reflection, healing, and renewal

Honor service through action, not ceremony alone

The land becomes neutral ground. Titles fade. Brotherhood, mentorship, and healing take their place.

Our Symbol

The child stands at the center because he is the reason.

Every uniform, every sacrifice, every sleepless night exists so the next generation can stand protected and hopeful.

We stand around them—united—carrying the responsibility forward.

Our Promise

This mission is not about glorifying service.

It is about honoring its cost and walking beside those who live with it every day.

Our Values

Support — We show up, consistently and personally

Honor — We recognize sacrifice with action

Heal — We create space for restoration and hope

Founder’s Commitment

Hunt & Recovery Project was built on the belief that service deserves more than applause—it deserves lifelong support.

We will continue to stand with those who served, those who protect, and the children who carry their legacy.

Support. Honor. Heal.
